Our Story

At Fleetwood Veterinary Clinic, we only treat cats and dogs. To help patients not only achieve but to maintain wellness and to optimize the experience of having a pet as part of the family, Dr. Dunlap has augmented her training as a veterinarian with additional tools to help treat the complex and chronic conditions that pets often experience.

Experience

To better serve our patients, Dr. Dunlap has obtained additional training in acupuncture, herbology, chiropractic, osteopathy, and nutrition. Utilizing these therapies, with more conventional technologies, allows clients to have individualized, integrative diagnostic, and therapeutic options at Fleetwood Veterinary Clinic.

Understanding Our Patients

Dr. Denise Dunlap strives to minimize the stress of your pet’s visit to the veterinarian by providing dogs with cushioned beds located low to the ground and high-grade rubber walking surfaces to stabilize patient footing, particularly those with weak or arthritic limbs. These design features, with the use of soothing background music and aromatherapy, calms nervous patients.

Cats and dogs do not want to meet one another. To minimize them coming in contact with one another in the waiting room, appointments are carefully scheduled by grouping visits by animal breed. Cats and dogs have separate exam rooms suited to their needs and separate wards in the hospital.
